Virtuallab (RemoteLab) has been updated and modified.  Remotely connecting to Penn State Erie's computer lab environment requires a few simple steps.
 
 

Step 1:  Verify your permissions here (required only once per semester or when you change your password)

Step 2: Go to the Virtuallab web site (link below). Accept all prompted ActiveX controls and add the Virtuallab site to your Trusted Sites in Internet Explorer.  (go here for detailed instructions)

Step 3: Login to the Session Allocation Client with your user id and password (leave domain field as psu-erie.bd.psu.edu)

Step 4: Log off your remote session when finished

  IMPORTANT NOTE: Pop-up Blocking- The first use of the Virtuallab will result in a prompt to install an ActiveX control.  If pop up blocking is enabled you will need to allow this installation to occur to use this service.  Please refer to your Internet Explorer documentation on the configuration and use of pop-up blocking. 

Performance of the Remote Desktop Web Connection is dependent on your ISP connectivity (dialup, DSL, Cable).
